Abstract

Procedimiento y aparato para clarificar por floculación un líquido turbio que forma una espuma con gas inyectado, y que contiene un material el cual, con el gas, es capaz de formar flóculos flotantes, estando dicho procedimiento caracterizado porque consiste en: inyectar en una masa de dicho líquido contenida en un recipiente de inyección un gas compatible con dicho líquido, con el fin de formar una espuma en la parte superior de la masa de líquido y formar componentes de flóculos en el interior de dicha masa de líquido; retener dicha espuma en dicho recipiente de inyección para impedir la salida de dicha espuma; reinyectar continuamente durante un periodo de tiempo sustancial en dicha masa de líquido dicho gas que se escapa de dicha masa de líquido y por lo menos una parte de dicha espuma, con el fin de eliminar sustancialmente la pérdida de líquido en forma de espuma; mantener a continuación dicho líquido en el cual se ha inyectado gas en estado quieto para que dicho material forme flóculos flotantes y para que los flóculos puedan subir a la superficie del líquido quieto; y extraer el líquido debajo de dichos flóculos.
