Abstract
Un método de producir una composición catalítica, que consiste esencialmente en las etapas de: (a) mezclar una solución de un componente metálico, catalíticamente promotor, soluble en agua, y óxido refractario, de elevada superficie específica y finamente dividido, que está lo suficientemente seco para absorber esencialmente la totalidad de dicha solución, (b) convertir dicho componente metálico catalíticamente promotor, de la composición resultante, en la forma insoluble en agua, al tiempo que dicha composición permanece esencialmente desprovista de líquido libre, y (c) triturar dicho material de óxido refractario-metal catalíticamente promotor, insoluble en agua, en forma de suspensión, depositar la suspensión sobre un portador de tamaño macroscópico, sólido, y secar la composición resultante.
