Abstract

Procedimiento para preparar 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoretano de alta pureza, caracterizado porque comprende hacer reaccionar, en fase vapor, a temperatura elevada, preferentemente a 300- 400ºC, un haloetano de fórmula CX3CH2Y donde X es bromo, cloro o flúor e Y es bromo o cloro con fluoruro de hidrógeno, en presencia de un catalizador que es óxido de cromo o que es por lo menos en parte fluoruro de cromo básico.
