Abstract

Las imidazopirimidinonas y otras dizaheterociclopirimidinonas con un anillo adicional de imidazol o triazol fusionado son útiles como broncodilatadores, inhibidores de la liberación de mediadores, inhibidores de la fosfodiesterasa y vasodilatadores periféricos. Son activos por vía oral y útiles en la profilaxis y tratamiento del asma. Un compuesto preferido es la 4-{(4-clorofenil)metil}6,7-dihidro-3H- imidazo{1,2-a}purin-9(4H)-ona.
