Procedimiento para la obtención de alcoholes etilénicos secundarios, caracterizado porque comprende hidrogenar selectivamente cetonas etilénicas de fórmula general: ***(Ver fórmula) en la que: R1 representa un átomo de hidrógeno o un radical metilo o etilo, o forma junto con cualquiera de los radicales R4 y R5 y los átomos de carbono a los cuales están enlazados un ciclo alifático no saturado.
