Un procedimiento para la preparación de N-(5-tetrazolil)-4-oxo-4H-pirimido[2,1-b]benzotiazol-3-carboxamidas de la fórmula *** y la sal básica farmacéuticamente aceptable del mismo, en donde R1 es hidrógeno, alquilo que tiene de 1 a 3 átomos de carbono, alcoxi que tiene de 1 a 3 átomos de carbono, hidroxi, cloro, flúor, trifluorometilo, nitro, amino, o metiltio;
