Abstract

Sistema de suministro y dosificación de carburante, destinado a ser utilizado conjuntamente con un motor de combustión interna que está provisto de una fuente de carburante, el cual es líquido en las condiciones normales de temperatura y presión, que incluye en combinación: un dispositivo de suministro de carburante líquido, que comunica con la fuente de carburante líquido; un dispositivo de calentamiento que comunica con dicho dispositivo de suministro y que sirve para vaporizar el líquido suministrado a dicho dispositivo de calentamiento por dicho dispositivo de suministro; un dispositivo de depósito de vapor que comunica con dicho dispositivo de calentamiento y, que sirve para definir un espacio de almacenado de vapor de volumen variable; un dispositivo que responde al volumen de vapor contenido en el espacio de almacenado de vapor, que sirve para controlar dicho dispositivo de suministro, con lo cual la generación y el suministro de carburante líquido vaporizado pueden ser controlados para mantener un volumen predeterminado de vapor en el espacio de almacenado de vapor; un dispositivo de carburador que comunica con dicho dispositivo de depósito de vapor, que sirve para recibir el carburante líquido vaporizado procedente de dicho volumen de almacenado de vapor y que sirve, además, para mezclar el vapor de carburante con el aire, con el objeto de formar una mezcla de aire/carburante con el aire, con el objeto de formar una mezcla de aire/carburante inflamable; y un dispositivo que coopera con dicho dispositivo de depósito de vapor para mantener la relación aire/carburante de la mezcla inflamable formada por dicho dispositivo de carburador sustancialmente constante, a pesar de las variaciones en la velocidad de formación de la mezcla inflamable.
