Abstract
Un colector de corriente mejorado, eléctricamente conductor, adecuado para usar en aplicaciones de alta temperatura en presencia de medios corrosivos que comprende: (A) un miembro cerámico electrónicamente conductor, no corrosivo, de alta resistencia, que sirve como el miembro principal que soporta la carga de dicho colector de corriente; y (B) un revestimiento metálico altamente conductor desde el punto de vista electrónico íntimamente unido a una porción substancial de una superficie de dicho miembro cerámico, teniendo dicho revestimiento metálico un espesor que preserva la función de dicho miembro cerámico como elemento principal de dicho colector de corriente que soporta la carga y estando basado en el módulo elástico relativo de dicho metal comparado con el del miembro cerámico, estando adaptado dicho revestimiento metálico a la circulación de corriente continua a través de dicho miembro cerámico y para derivar dicha corriente entre dicho miembro y un contacto externo.
