Abstract

Procedimiento para estabilizar soluciones acuosas de hipocloritos, en particular para estabilizar soluciones de hipocloritos de metales alcalinos y alcalino terreos que contienen trazas de impurezas de compuestos metálicos, especialmente compuestos de níquel, cobre y hierro causantes de la catálisis de la descomposición de los iones hipoclorito; caracterizado porque comprende hacer reaccionar dichos compuestos de níquel, cobre y hierro con iones peryodato, en especial en una cantidad de 0,05 a 1.000 partes por millón en peso, de iones peryodato, basado en el volumen de la solución.
