Abstract

Un método de tratamiento superficial de cobre y sus aleaciones por ataque químico a temperaturas de 20 a 50ºC con una disolución ácida de peróxido de hidrógeno que contiene de 10 a 150 g/l de peróxido de hidrógeno y 10 a 200 g/l de un ácido mineral, caracterizado por añadir a la disolución, en calidad de inhibidor, metilciclohexanol o -ciclohexanol o ambos de los dos en cantidades de 0,1 a 5 g/l, con lo que cualquier ión cloro que esté presente en la disolución ácida de peróxido de hidrógeno es inhibido de obstaculizar el ataque químico de la superficie de cobre o su aleación por la disolución ácida de peróxido de hidrógeno para producir la superficie deseada.
