Abstract
Improvements in high-voltage condenser ignition devices, of the type in which the ignition is linked to both a charging current circuit and a discharge current circuit that contains in series a controllable electronic discharge switch with primary winding of a high voltage ignition coil whose secondary winding is linkable with at least one spark plug, with a signal emitter connected to the discharge switch control electrode and working synchronously to the complete turns of the crankshaft of the internal combustion engine, and also with a DC voltage transformer whose secondary current circuit is in the charging current circuit of the ignition capacitor and whose primary current circuit connected to a low-voltage source contains a series circuit formed by the primary winding of a governable transformer, finding the t connection branch of the limiting switch in the current circuit that goes to a feedback coil belonging to the control transformer, and finally with at least one auxiliary current circuit that can be influenced by inductive coupling of the primary current circuit of the direct voltage transformer, that with at least one controllable electronic auxiliary switch, serves for the non-conductive state switching of the limiting switch linked in its control section with the feedback winding, characterized in that a control circuit for follower sparks is provided, which contains a monostable multivibrator and a stable multivibrator, of which the monostable multivibrator is brought to its unstable state at the moment of power-up and keeps connected for the duration of this state to the stable multivibrator which, with each of its successive automatic processes, becomes a current conductor to the voltage transformer n continued for an upload and then to the discharge switch for delivering a spark follower.
