Abstract

A circular knitting machine with pattern wheels is provided with wheel-feeding cams which guide the butts of needles into pattern wheel slots. Each such wheel-feeding cam preferably includes an extension running parallel to a pattern wheel and effective to lock needle butts in their pattern wheel slots.
