Abstract

1347448 Knitting-machines FOUQUETWERK FRAUZ & PLANCK 8 Sept 1972 [9 Sept 1971] 41784/72 Heading D1C A cylinder and dial machine is provided with a series of pattern drums which are advanced at least twice per machine revolution by an appropriate number of cams on the cylinder, so that two or more pattern motifs are knit side by side. If for example two motifs are to be knitted, the butts relating to the motifs are arranged alternately in the drums. The two cams are spaced at 180‹, or other appropriate setting corresponding to the desired fabric width. Examples of three patterns of various widths and of four patterns are described,
