Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en la fabricación de segmentos de pistón, particularmente de segmentos distanciadores-ensanchadores para pistones que comprenden una tira metálica ondulada y substancialmente circular que tiene extremos móviles hacia y desde una relación de tope, consistiendo las ondulaciones en porciones primeras y segundas interconectadas por tramos intermedios, caracterizados por la provisión de una abertura a través de cada tramo intermedio, siendo por lo menos la abertura del tramo intermedio de cada extremo de la tira menor que las aberturas de los restantes tramos intermedios de una pluralidad de tramos intermedios contiguos, y por la provisión de un elemento alineador que tiene una curvatura que se adapta substancialmente a la de la tira cuando los extremos de ésta están a tope, extendiéndose el elemento alineador a través de las aberturas de los tramos intermedios de los extremos de la tira y a través de las aberturas de una pluralidad de tramos intermedios contiguos y teniendo un tope, por lo menos en uno de sus extremos, dimensionado de modo que sea detenido por la abertura menor más próxima al mismo y que pase a través de las restantes aberturas.
