Abstract

The adjustable ferrite slug 19 in a ferrite pot core 10, 11 spans air gap 19 and is held by a polyamide resin carrier 20 which is threaded to screw in an epoxy resin sleeve 21, the free end of slug 19 fitting slidingly in a further sleeve 23. The material of the slug carrier may be loaded with metallic material to compensate for the effect of temperature changes on the core characteristics.
