Abstract
Improvements in hypodermic syringes, characterized in that it comprises a cylinder open at one end and closed at the opposite end, a hollow needle pointed at both ends and secured at the closed end of said cylinder with one end extended inside the same cylinder, an opening in the wall of said needle in the portion thereof extended to the inside of the cylinder, separable sealing means that hermetically closes the end of said needle extended to the outside of said cylinder, and an elongated tube received at the open end of said cylinder and provided with a stopper at each end to contain a medicine, the front stopper presenting a solid portion with a diameter substantially equal to the internal diameter of said cylinder and adapted to act as a piston and sealing for a diluent contained in the anterior portion of said cylinder, said plug being adapted to be drilled through the inner end of the needle when the advance movement of said elongated tube to put the diluent in communication with the medicine, and the rear plug adapting to act as a plunger in the discharge of the content of the elongated tube.
