Abstract

A flap 2 (Fig. 1) at the upper edge of a tube 1 is folded in about the lines 3, 4 to form a valve, as in Fig. 3, and is then welded. As shown one weld 13 coincides with the weld forming the end of the bag. The tube may be seamless or formed by welding from a sheet.
