DESCRIPCIÓN
Protector de borde para muebles
La invención se refiere a un protector de borde para muebles, que comprende una capa de fusión y una capa estructural unida con la capa de fusión.
Por el documento EP 1163884 se conoce un panel para muebles y un procedimiento para su fabricación. En dicho documento, se describe un protector de borde genérico en el que la capa de fusión puede ser soldada con los materiales de madera mediante tecnología láser.
Para fijar el protector de borde al mueble, es difícil, con algunos materiales, lograr una sujeción segura en el mueble. La invención se basa en el objetivo de proporcionar un protector de borde para muebles que, independientemente del material del mueble, pueda fijarse ópticamente sin línea de separación y sin adhesivos en al menos un borde del mueble.
Con el fin de conseguir este objetivo, la invención proporciona un protector de borde para muebles según la reivindicación 1. Debido a que la capa de fusión contiene componentes tanto polares como no polares en la estructura molecular, el protector de borde puede ser unido con muebles compuestos de diferentes materiales mediante la alimentación de energía, por ejemplo, a través de luz y/o radiación. De esta manera, la capa de fusión se puede unir directamente por adherencia de materiales a los materiales polares y no polares mediante fusión. Una adhesión mecánica se logra, por ejemplo, mediante la penetración de la capa de fusión en una estructura celular del mueble, abrazándola y endureciéndola. Una adhesión específica se logra mediante varios efectos: La capa de fusión con componentes polares y no polares en la estructura molecular muestra una buena afinidad con materiales como la madera, para facilitar la difusión. Por ejemplo, las celulosas que contienen grupos OH contenidas en materiales basados en la madera muestran un carácter dipolar muy fuerte y, por lo tanto, adhesión a sustancias polares.
Realizaciones preferentes del protector de borde de acuerdo con la invención se indican en las reivindicaciones dependientes. De acuerdo con la invención, el protector de borde presenta una capa estructural única con la capa de fusión. Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que la capa estructural otorga al protector de borde la verdadera estructura independientemente de la función de la capa de fusión, por lo que la capa de fusión y la capa estructural pueden ser diseñadas en cada caso funcionalmente.
Puede ser ventajoso si la capa de fusión presenta grupos moleculares polares y/o reactivos, de tal manera que se puedan lograr enlaces adhesivos y/o covalentes y/o iónicos. Los mejores resultados en el enlace del protector de borde de acuerdo con la invención se obtienen si el polímero de la capa de fusión presenta muy buena fluidez. Tales grupos polares y/o reactivos pueden incorporarse fácilmente a la estructura molecular de la capa de fusión, por ejemplo, mediante una correspondiente copolimerización y/o injerto y/o un tratamiento superficial posterior (tratamiento con llama, procedimiento corona o de plasma). Los grupos reactivos pueden formar adicionalmente uniones químicas entre la capa de fusión y el respectivo compañero de unión en el mueble y así garantizar una resistencia de la unión particularmente alta.
Puede ser útil si la capa de fusión presenta grupos moleculares basados en ácidos carboxílicos o sus ésteres o sales, en particular el ácido acrílico, ésteres de ácido acrílico, ácido metacrílico, ésteres de ácido metacrílico, ésteres de ácido metacrílico metílico; epóxidos, isocianatos, resina de fenol-formaldehído, silanos, titanatos, alcoholes, amidas, imidas, compuestos de amonio o ácidos sulfónicos o sus ésteres o sales o similares. Preferentemente la capa de fusión comprende uno o más de los grupos moleculares seleccionados de estos grupos o mezclas de los mismos.
Sin embargo, también está dentro del alcance de la invención usar los llamados isocianatos bloqueados y similares, que solo alcanzan su reactividad a temperaturas de activación definidas.
Otra versión realización preferente de la invención se refiere a un protector de borde según una de las realizaciones anteriores, estando fabricada la capa estructural de un polímero termoplástico, preferentemente polipropileno, copolímero de acrilonitrilo butadieno estireno, cloruro de polivinilo, polimetilmetacrilato, polietileno tereftalato, polietileno, copolímero en bloque de estireno-etileno-butileno-estireno y poliamida y similares. Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que este material está disponible a bajo coste y puede ser procesado fácilmente.
Otra realización preferente de la invención se refiere a un protector de borde según una de las realizaciones anteriores, estando basada la capa de fusión en un polímero termoplástico, preferentemente polipropileno, copolímero de acrilonitrilo butadieno estireno, cloruro de polivinilo, polimetilmetacrilato, polietileno tereftalato, polietileno, copolímero de bloque de estireno-etileno-butadieno-estireno y poliamida y similares. Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que este material está disponible a bajo coste y puede ser fácilmente procesado, además de que puede ser fácilmente modificado químicamente.
En otra realización preferente, la capa de fusión está configurada como una capa funcional termoplástica, que por primera vez permite fijar un protector de borde en un lado estrecho de un mueble sin adhesivo y sin una junta visible, según las formas de realización anteriormente descritas.
Otra realización preferente de la invención se refiere a un protector de borde según una de las realizaciones anteriores, basándose la capa de fusión en el material del que está fabricada la capa estructural. Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que se crea una unión particularmente resistente entre las capas del protector de borde.
Otra realización preferente de la invención se refiere a una banda de perfil según una de las realizaciones anteriormente mencionadas, estando compuesta la capa de fusión de una mezcla que consiste en al menos uno de los polímeros termoplásticos anteriormente mencionados, al menos un polímero adicional que presenta los grupos moleculares polares y/o reactivos anteriormente mencionados y aditivos.
Otra realización preferente de la invención se refiere a un protector de borde según una de las realizaciones anteriores, estando unidas por adherencia de materiales la capa estructural y la capa de fusión. Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que las capas del protector de borde están unidas de manera particularmente resistente.
Otra realización preferente de la invención se refiere a un protector de borde según una de las realizaciones anteriores, estando coextruídas la capa estructural y la capa de fusión. Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que la conformación del protector de borde resulta particularmente sencilla.
Otra realización preferente de la invención se refiere a un protector de borde según una de las realizaciones anteriores, presentando el material de la capa de fusión un punto de fusión más bajo que el material de la capa estructural. Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que cuando el protector de borde se calienta a una temperatura superior al punto de fusión de la capa de fusión, pero inferior al punto de fusión de la capa estructural, solo la capa de fusión se funde y alcanza un estado viscoso o viscoplástico, mientras que la capa estructural mantiene su estado sólido sin cambios.
Otra realización preferente de la invención se refiere a un protector de borde según una de las realizaciones anteriores, siendo el material de la capa protectora un copolímero, preferentemente un copolímero de injerto, preferentemente polipropileno injertado con anhídrido maleico. Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que la composición del material, en particular la proporción de los grupos polares en la estructura molecular y, por lo tanto, las propiedades del material pueden ser ajustadas de manera específica.
De acuerdo con la invención, la capa de fusión contiene aditivos que absorben energía. Los aditivos que absorben energía son preferentemente aditivos absorbentes de luz y/o radiación, por ejemplo, pigmentos de láser.
Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que la capa de fusión puede ser solicitada específicamente con energía y calentarse por encima del punto de fusión. Preferentemente, los aditivos que absorben energía están contenidos en determinadas secciones de fusión en la capa de fusión que se funden de manera específica, pudiendo estar dispuestas las secciones de fusión en cualquier patrón, por ejemplo, como líneas paralelas a lo largo de los bordes longitudinales del protector de borde.
Otra realización preferente de la invención se refiere a un protector de borde según una de las realizaciones anteriores, formando la capa estructural la capa superior del protector de borde que define un lado superior o un lado visible del protector de borde. Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que la apariencia del protector de borde permanece inalterada en el lado visible incluso después de la fusión y soldadura de la capa de fusión en un mueble, por ejemplo, un panel a base de madera (tablero de aglomerado, panel MDF).
Otra realización preferente de la invención se refiere a un protector de borde según una de las realizaciones anteriores, presentando el lado superior del protector de borde una decoración. Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que el protector de borde puede presentar diferentes decoraciones a pesar de tener un diseño estructural esencialmente idéntico, por ejemplo, una decoración adaptada a una superficie encimera del mueble.
Otra realización preferente de la invención se refiere a un protector de borde según una de las realizaciones anteriores, formando la capa de fusión la capa inferior del protector de borde que define un lado inferior o de apoyo del protector de borde. Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que la capa de fusión puede soldarse directamente a la cara frontal de un mueble que se va a ocultar, por ejemplo, un panel a base de madera (tablero de aglomerado, panel de MDF).
En otro diseño preferente de la invención, la capa de fusión presenta aditivos tales como, por ejemplo, tintes, pigmentos y similares, que conducen a una ventajosa armonización de color entre la capa de fusión y la capa de cubierta, así como con respecto al lado superior del mueble. De este modo se evita la junta de unión ópticamente visible entre el borde del mueble y la capa de cubierta, como se conoce por el estado de la técnica.
Otra realización preferente de la invención se refiere a un protector de borde según una de las realizaciones anteriores, presentando la capa estructural un grosor de 0,8 a 1,6 mm, preferentemente de 1,0 a 5,0 mm. Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que la capa estructural otorga al protector de borde una estructura suficientemente rígida.
Otra realización preferente de la invención se refiere a un protector de borde según una de las realizaciones anteriores, presentando la capa de fusión un grosor de 0,1 a 0,5 mm, preferentemente de 0,2 a 0,5 mm. Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que la capa de fusión solo se realiza en el grosor necesario para lograr la unión con el mueble. De esta manera, se ahorra material de la capa de fusión, que es más caro que el material de la capa estructural. Otra realización preferente de la invención se refiere a un mueble con un protector de borde según una de las realizaciones anteriores, estando unida por adherencia de materiales y/o química la capa de fusión al menos por secciones con un borde del mueble. Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que la capa de fusión está unida con el mueble por adherencia de materiales y/o química y posiblemente también por arrastre de forma. Debido a la soldadura parcial, según la cual la capa de fusión solo se suelda por secciones con borde del mueble, pero el borde queda completamente revestido por el protector borde, la capa de fusión solo requiere ser solicitada con energía en puntos selectivos, de tal modo que se ahorra tiempo y energía. El término "químicamente unido" se refiere a una unión química que resulta de una reacción química entre un grupo molecular reactivo contenido en la capa de fusión y un correspondiente compañero de unión o el borde del mueble. El grupo molecular reactivo contenido en la capa de fusión y el compañero de unión no están restringidos a este respecto mientras sean capaces de formar una unión química entre ellos. La unión química entre el grupo molecular de la capa de fusión y el respectivo compañero de unión del mueble garantiza una resistencia de unión particularmente elevada.
Otra realización preferente de la invención se refiere a un mueble según la realización precedente, estando unido el lado inferior del protector de borde en toda su superficie con el borde del mueble por adherencias de materiales y/o química. Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que la capa de fusión se une de forma segura y permanente con el mueble. Otra realización preferente de la invención se refiere a un mueble de acuerdo con una de las realizaciones anteriores, siendo seleccionado el material del mueble del grupo de materiales de madera, materiales sustitutos de la madera, metales, vidrios, plásticos, piedras, cerámica o combinaciones de los mismos. Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que existe la mayor libertad posible en cuanto a la elección del material del mueble. Por ejemplo, la madera contiene aproximadamente un 40 % de celulosa, aproximadamente un 25 % de holocelulosa y aproximadamente un 30 % de lignina. La celulosa es una molécula de cadena lineal (de hasta 8 pm de longitud) y es responsable, en particular, de la resistencia a la tracción de la madera. Las holocelulosas están compuestas por diferentes azúcares, las cadenas son esencialmente más cortas y presentan grupos laterales y ramificaciones. Las holocelulosas están unidas con la lignina de la pared celular por medio de enlaces covalentes. En particular, las celulosas presentan una pluralidad de grupos OH, que son necesarios para la cohesión interna de la madera, pero que también pueden ser usados para la unión externa de la capa de fusión. Estos grupos OH son particularmente apropiados para formar un enlace químico con grupos moleculares reactivos contenidos en la capa de fusión.
En principio, todos los materiales que tienen correspondientes grupos reactivos en la superficie que entran en contacto con los bordes, por ejemplo, de los muebles, son apropiados para las uniones químicas. Si es necesario, los materiales pueden ser modificados primero en la superficie si se desea una unión química entre el protector de borde y el material del mueble y los materiales no presentan por sí mismos o en suficiente cantidad compañeros de unión químicamente reactivos.
Otra realización preferente de la invención se refiere a un mueble según una de las realizaciones anteriores, estando seleccionado el material de la capa estructural del grupo de materiales de madera, materiales sustitutivos de la madera, metales, vidrios, plásticos, piedras, cerámicas o combinaciones de los mismos. Esta medida tiene la ventaja de que existe la mayor libertad posible en cuanto a la elección del material de la capa estructural.

Descripción detallada de los ejemplos de realización preferentes
El protector de borde 1 de acuerdo con la invención se describe a continuación con referencia a las figuras adjuntas. El protector de borde 1 de acuerdo con la invención para muebles 4 comprende una capa de fusión 3 que contiene proporciones tanto polares como no polares en la estructura molecular. Para ello, la capa de fusión 3 está fabricada de un material que está químicamente modificado para que contenga proporciones tanto polares como no polares en la estructura molecular. Como resultado, la capa de fusión 3 puede ser unida directamente a los materiales polares o no polares mediante unión por adherencia de materiales por fusión. En la variante más sencilla, el protector de borde 1 comprende exclusivamente la capa de fusión 3, es decir, que el protector de borde 1 está fabricado del material químicamente modificado que contiene proporciones tanto polares como no polares en la estructura molecular. El protector de borde 1 preferente para muebles 4 comprende una capa estructural 2 y la capa de fusión 3 hecha del material químicamente modificado que contiene proporciones tanto polares como no polares en la estructura molecular. Entre la capa estructural 2 y la capa de fusión 3 puede no estar prevista ninguna capa intermedia o pueden estar previstas una o varias capas intermedias, de tal modo que la capa estructural 2 y la capa de fusión 3 estén unidas al menos indirectamente, y preferentemente de manera directa. La capa estructural 2 puede omitirse si la capa de fusión 3 presenta un grosor suficiente para otorgar al protector de borde 1 la rigidez necesaria. Dado que el material químicamente modificado de la capa de fusión 3 es por regla general más caro que el material de la capa estructural 2, es preferente la variante con la capa estructural 2.
La figura 1 muestra una vista en sección esquemática del borde de un mueble 4 y un protector de borde 1 que se debe fijar en el mismo de acuerdo con la invención.
En el sentido de la invención, como capa estructural 2 se designa una capa que esencialmente otorga al protector de borde 1 su estructura. Un material de la capa estructural 2 puede ser seleccionado de cualquier material, por ejemplo, del grupo de materiales de madera, materiales sustitutivos de la madera, metales, vidrios, plásticos, piedras, cerámicas o combinaciones de los mismos.
En un ejemplo de realización preferente, la capa estructural 2 está fabricada de un polímero termoplástico, preferentemente polipropileno, copolímero de acrilonitrilo butadieno estireno, cloruro de polivinilo, polimetilmetacrilato, polietileno tereftalato y similares.
En los ejemplos de realización representados, la capa estructural 2 forma simultáneamente la capa superior 2 del protector de borde 1 que define un lado superior o lado visible 20 del protector de borde 1. Alternativamente, una o más capas están dispuestas sobre la capa estructural 2, por ejemplo, una capa decorativa o una lámina decorativa con una superficie decorada. La capa estructural 2 presenta un grosor de 0,8 mm a 5,0 mm, preferentemente de 1,0 a 3,0 mm.
En el contexto de esta descripción, se designa como capa de fusión 3 una capa que está compuesta de un material fundible que preferentemente se ablanda cuando la temperatura se eleva por encima del punto de fusión y adopta un estado viscoso o viscoplástico, y vuelve a solidificarse cuando se enfría.
El material de la capa de fusión 3 se modifica químicamente de tal manera que contiene grupos moleculares polares y/o no polares y/o reactivos. Por consiguiente, el material de la capa de fusión 3 es también referido como mediador de fase. Mediante la fusión, el material de la capa de fusión 3 se puede unir directamente con los materiales polares y no polares por adherencia de materiales. La capa de fusión 3 está basada preferentemente en el mismo material que la capa estructural 2, es decir, en un material no polar, preferentemente plástico, preferentemente polipropileno, copolímero de acrilonitrilo butadieno estireno, cloruro de polivinilo, polimetilmetacrilato, polietileno tereftalato y similares, pero es químicamente modificado. En particular, el material de la capa de fusión 3 es un copolímero, preferentemente un copolímero de injerto, preferentemente un polipropileno injertado con anhídrido maleico. El material de la capa de fusión 3 contiene una proporción de hasta cuatro por ciento de grupos polares y/o reactivos en la estructura molecular, preferentemente entre un 0,5 y un 2 %, preferentemente un 1 %. La capa de fusión 3 presenta un grosor de 0,1 mm a 1,5 mm, preferentemente de 0,2 mm a 0,5 mm. Preferentemente, la capa de fusión contiene uno o más de los grupos moleculares basados en ácidos carboxílicos o sus ésteres o sales, en particular ácido acrílico, ésteres de ácido acrílico, ácido metacrílico, ésteres de ácido metacrílico, ésteres de ácido metacrílico metílico; epóxidos, isocianatos, resina de fenol-formaldehído, silanos, titanatos, alcoholes, amidas, imidas, compuestos de amonio o ácidos sulfónicos o sus ésteres o sales o similares.
La capa estructural 2 y la capa de fusión 3 están preferentemente unidas por adherencia de materiales, preferentemente coextruídas. El material de la capa de fusión 3 presenta preferentemente un punto de fusión más bajo que el material de la capa estructural 2. Si el protector de borde 1 se calienta a una temperatura predeterminada que está por encima del punto de fusión del material de la capa de fusión 3, pero por debajo del punto de fusión de la capa estructural 2, solo el material de la capa de fusión 3 se ablanda o se funde, lo cual es deseable.
La figura 3 muestra una vista esquemática y en perspectiva de un mueble 4 con el protector de borde 1 de acuerdo con la invención, estando unida o uniéndose la capa de fusión 3 del protector de borde 1 por adherencia de materiales directamente con un borde 40 del mueble 4.
El mueble 4 comprende un tablero (por ejemplo, un tablero mesa, una encimera de cocina, etc.) compuesto de un material que está seleccionado entre cualesquiera materiales, por ejemplo, del grupo de materiales de madera, materiales sustitutivos de la madera, metales, vidrios, plásticos, piedras, cerámicas o combinaciones de los mismos. En el presente ejemplo, el mueble 4 es un tablero hecho de un material a base de madera, en particular un tablero de aglomerado o de MDF. El mueble 4 comprende los bordes 40, definidos y bordeados por las orillas de borde 41, un lado superior o lado de encimera 42 y un lado inferior (no representado).
En el ejemplo de realización de acuerdo con la figura 3, el protector de borde 1 comprende la estructura preferente con una capa estructural 2 que define el lado visible 20 y una capa de fusión 3 que define el lado de contacto 30, y presenta una estructura flexible.
El material de la capa estructural 2 es polipropileno. El material de la capa de fusión 3 es polipropileno injertado de anhídrido maleico. El protector de borde 1 se aproxima al borde 40 del mueble 4 que debe ser revestido mediante un procedimiento esencialmente convencional, siendo solicitado el lado de contacto 30 de la capa de fusión 3 directamente con energía mediante un agente de solicitación con energía 6 inmediatamente antes de que el protector de borde 1 se aproxime al borde 40. Mediante la solicitación con energía, la capa de fusión 3 se calienta. La energía se suministra en cualquier forma, preferentemente en forma de luz láser, aire caliente, microondas, ultrasonido, etc., absorbiendo un agente de absorción de energía (por ejemplo, pigmentos de láser), preferentemente contenido en la capa de fusión 3, la energía suministrada por el agente de solicitación con energía 6 y calentando la capa de fusión 3 por encima del punto de fusión. A este respecto, no es necesario que la capa de fusión 3 se funda completamente, sino únicamente que la capa de fusión 3 se ablande en el lado de contacto 30 de tal modo que la capa de fusión 3 adopte un estado viscoso o viscoplástico al menos por secciones y, cuando el protector de borde 1 sea presionado contra el borde 40 del mueble 4, penetre mecánicamente en la estructura de superficie preferentemente rugosa del borde 40 del mueble 4. Debido a las propiedades químicas ajustadas del protector de borde 1, la capa de fusión 3 se une adicionalmente por adherencia de materiales con el borde 40 de la pieza de trabajo 4.
Una capa de fusión 3, que presenta grupos moleculares reactivos, es preferentemente alimentada con energía por el agente de solicitación con energía 6 hasta que se supera una energía de activación con el fin de desencadenar una reacción química y crear una unión química entre la capa de fusión 3 y el respectivo compañero de unión, en este caso el mueble 4. La solicitación con energía de la capa de fusión 3 para provocar una reacción química entre la capa de fusión 3 y el borde 40 del mueble 4, con el fin de unir químicamente la capa de fusión 3 y el borde 40 del mueble 4, tiene lugar selectivamente de forma simultánea o independiente de la solicitación con energía de la capa de fusión 3 para fundir la capa de fusión 3.
La energía de activación para provocar una unión química entre la capa de fusión 3 y el respectivo compañero de unión, en este caso el mueble 4, está influenciada, entre otros, por los siguientes parámetros
temperatura
radiación (láser, luz UV)
presión de contacto
intersticio de junta
espesor de la capa
tiempo de curación
aire ambiente (humedad, contenido de oxígeno)
superficie del sustrato
tratamiento previo
En el caso de una capa de fusión 3 de polipropileno injertado con anhídrido maleico (PP-MAH), por ejemplo, la capa de fusión 3 se calienta a una temperatura superior a 135°C. Esta temperatura suele ser lo suficientemente alta como para que el anhídrido maleico (MAH) reaccione con los grupos OH de la madera para crear una unión química. El protector de borde 1 se fabrica por regla general con sobremedida y se aproxima al borde 40 del mueble 4 de tal manera que a ambos lados del protector de borde 1 se genera un área que sobresale entre las líneas discontinuas 21 y los bordes del protector de borde 1 en el estado adherido. Este sobrante de material se procesa por medio de un mecanizado con arranque de viruta, de tal manera que los bordes del protector de borde 1 en el lado longitudinal y la superficie de encimera 42, así como el lado inferior (no representado) del mueble 4 estén enrasados.
Es suficiente si el lado de contacto 30 del protector de borde 1 unido o soldado al borde 40 del mueble 4por adherencia de materiales y/o químicamente al menos por secciones. A este respecto, es posible realizar patrones de soldadura por puntos, líneas o a modo de tablero de ajedrez, lo que puede lograrse, por ejemplo, mediante solicitación específica con energía de aditivos absorbentes de energía de la capa de fusión 3. Sin embargo, es preferente que la capa de fusión 3 sea unida o soldada al borde 40 del mueble 4 en toda su superficie. Esto se aplica en particular a las zonas de esquina del mueble 4, en las que los protectores de bordes 1 están dispuestos, por ejemplo, de forma contigua sobre la esquina para evitar que los protectores de bordes 1 se despeguen partiendo de las zonas de esquina del mueble 4.
La figura 2 muestra el estado de unión del protector de borde 1 y el mueble 4. A este respecto, se muestra cómo el material inicialmente fundido y posteriormente solidificado de la capa de fusión 3 penetra en la estructura de la superficie rugosa, porosa o microporosa del borde 40 del mueble 4, de tal modo que la capa de fusión 3 se une al mueble 4 por adherencia de materiales y -si la estructura de la superficie del mueble 4 lo permite- también por arrastre de forma.
A continuación, se enumeran las variantes preferentes del protector de borde 1 de acuerdo con la invención, indicándose los respectivos materiales:
Variante 1 (borde de PP)
Capa estructural: polipropileno (PP);
Capa de fusión: PP anhídrido maleico
Variante 2 (borde de ABS)
Capa estructural: copolímero de acrilonitrilo butadieno estireno (ABS);
Capa de fusión: etilenvinilacetato-anhídrido maleico, etilén-metracrilato, poliuretano (termoplástico), ABS­ anhídrido maleico o copolímero en bloque de estireno-etileno-butileno-estireno anhídrido maleico, copoliamida de adhesión modificada;
Variante 3 (borde de PVC)
Capa estructural: cloruro de polivinilo (PVC);
Capa de fusión: copolímero de PVC- anhídrido maleico o PVC- poliacriléster, copoliamida de adhesión modificada; ABS- anhídrido maleico
Variante 4 (borde de PMMA/PET)
Capa estructural: polimetilmetacrilato (PMMA) o polietileno tereftalato (PET);
Capa de fusión: etileno-acrilato de butilo, etilén-metracrilato, etilenvinilacetato, acrilato epoxídico, poliéster (injertado con anhídrido maleico).
Variante 5 (borde de PP)
Capa estructural y capa de fusión: polipropileno injertado con anhídrido maleico

Claims (14)

REIVINDICACIONES
1. Protector de bordes (1) para muebles, que comprende una capa de fusión (3) y una capa estructural (2) unida a la capa de fusión (3), caracterizado porque la capa de fusión (3) contiene componentes tanto polares como no polares en la estructura molecular, y porque la capa de fusión (3) contiene aditivos que absorben energía.
2. Protector de bordes (1) según la reivindicación 1, estando fabricada la capa estructural (2) de un polímero termoplástico, preferentemente polipropileno, copolímero de acrilonitrilo butadieno estireno, cloruro de polivinilo, polimetilmetacrilato, polietileno tereftalato.
3. Protector de bordes (1) según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, estando la capa de fusión (3) hecha a base de un polímero termoplástico, preferentemente polipropileno, copolímero de acrilonitrilo butadieno estireno, cloruro de polivinilo, polimetilmetacrilato, polietileno tereftalato.
4. Protector de bordes (1) según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, estando hecha la capa de fusión (3) a base del material del que está fabricada la capa estructural (2).
5. Protector de bordes (1) según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, estando unidas la capa estructural (2) y la capa de fusión (3) por adherencia de materiales.
6. Protector de bordes (1) según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, estando coextruídas la capa estructural (2) y la capa de fusión (3).
7. Protector de bordes (1) según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, presentando el material de la capa de fusión (3) un punto de fusión más bajo que el material de la capa estructural (2).
8. Protector de bordes (1) según uno de las reivindicaciones anteriores, siendo el material de la capa de fusión (3) un copolímero, preferentemente un copolímero de injerto, preferentemente polipropileno injertado con anhídrido maleico.
9. Protector de bordes (1) según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, conteniendo la capa de fusión (3) aditivos que absorben luz y/o radiación, preferentemente pigmentos de láser.
10. Protector de bordes (1) según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, formando la capa estructural (2) la capa superior del protector de bordes (1) que define un lado superior o lado visible (20) del protector de bordes (1).
11. Protector de bordes (1) según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, formando la capa de fusión (3) la capa inferior del protector de bordes (1) que define un lado inferior o lado de contacto (30) del protector de bordes (1).
12. Protector de bordes (1) según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, presentando la capa de fusión (3) un grosor de 0,1 a 1,5 mm, preferentemente de 0,2 a 0,5 mm.
13. Mueble (4) con un protector de borde (1) según una de las reivindicaciones anteriores, estando unida por adherencia de materiales al menos por secciones la capa de fusión (3) con un borde (40) del mueble (4).
14. Mueble (4) según la reivindicación 13, estando unido por adherencia de materiales el lado inferior (30) del protector de borde (1) de manera materialmente integral en toda su superficie con el borde (40) del mueble (4).
