Abstract

An improved door bottom and sill assembly for inswing exterior doors is disclosed. The bottom portion 20 has a sealing member 24 along the interior bottom edge of the door and a lip 23 along the exterior edge. The sill portion mates with the sealing member when the door is in a closed position, forming a tight weather barrier. The sill may have a wooden substrate 31 a metal sill member 32 and a thermal break member 40.
