terschutzwinkels parallel verlaufende Sollbruchlinie darstellt.

The invention relates to a weather protection bracket for covering a component, in particular for an old building window.
The object of the invention is to create a stable weather protection angle, in particular for an old building window, which ensures a long-lasting protective function against weather influences.
This is achieved according to the invention in that at least one spacer is arranged between the component and the weather protection angle.
The spacers guarantee a minimum distance between the actual weather protection angle and the component to be protected, for example an old building window. As a result, the area between the weather protection bracket and the component can be well ventilated by specifying a well-defined minimum distance, which means that faults caused by moisture, such as rotting, etc., can be avoided.
If, according to a preferred embodiment, the spacer is formed in one piece with the rest of the weather protection bracket, the assembly is particularly simple. In addition, the spacer can then increase the overall static stability of the weather protection angle.
Further advantages and details of the inventions are explained in more detail with reference to the following description of the figures.
1 shows a first exemplary embodiment of a weather protection angle according to the invention in a cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the weather protection angle,
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
2 shows a perspective view of an exemplary embodiment of a weather protection bracket according to the invention installed in a window sash.
According to the invention, the weather protection angle 1 shown in FIG. 1 has a spacer 3 between a component 2, for example a wooden window sash and the actual weather protection angle, which ensures a minimum distance between the component 2 and the actual weather protection angle 1. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the spacer is a web 3 which is integral with the weather protection angle 1 and which runs near the edge la parallel to the longitudinal direction of the profiled weather protection angle. The weather protection bracket 1 can be screwed onto the component 2 via the screws 4 inserted into the bores 1b without falling below the minimum distance prescribed by the spacer 3.
Instead of the simple screws 4, special fastening means can also be used, which allow mutual adjustment of the weather protection angle 1 relative to the component 2. In this case too, the spacer 3 can guarantee a prescribed minimum distance.
If, as in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, the spacer 3 is formed in one piece with the weather protection angle 1, a dimensionally stable weather protection angle is formed overall, which can be made of extruded aluminum, for example. In order to extend the shelf life and to meet the visual requirements, the weather protection bracket can also be powder-coated. the one-piece design of the spacer with the weather protection angle 1 allows simple assembly. In principle, however, other spacers are also conceivable and possible.
Furthermore, the weather protection angle shown in FIG. 1 has a notch 1c, which is one to the longitudinal direction of the wet

represents protection line parallel to the predetermined breaking line. This predetermined breaking line or notch lc allows the rear part of the weather protection bracket 1 to be broken out at certain points, for example a projection 2a according to FIG. 2, with pliers. Where there is no projection 2a, the weather protection angle can then extend further back into the vicinity of the glass pane 5, while at the broken-out points it only extends to the projection 2a. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the longitudinal direction 6 of the weather protection angle is also shown.
In addition, this FIG. 2 shows the window putty 7 on which the weather protection angle rests and a sealing compound 8, for example silicone, which is then attached above it.
