Abstract

Procedimiento de obtención de cloruro de vinilo, caracterizado por consistir en someter el gas de partida, en proporciones relativamente importantes, a una combustión parcial bajo una presión que puede llegar hasta 20 atmósferas; en enfriar bruscamente el gas de pirolisis así obtenido; en purificar este último por lavado por un disolvente a baja temperatura; en realizar a continuación una reacción de catálisis a presión entre este gas limpio y ácido clorhídrico gaseoso, y finalmente en concentrar y purificar el cloruro de vinilo monómero formado.
