Abstract

Un procedimiento de producir naftaleno a partir de un material de carga que contiene compuestos de alcohilnaftaleno, que comprende someter el material de carga a condiciones de hidrodesalcohilación en presencia de hidrógeno y un catalizador que contenga aproximadamente de 5 a 25% en peso de óxido de cromo sobre un soporte de alúmina del tipo gamma de gran pureza y de bajo contenido de sodio a una temperatura superior a unos 649ºC.
