Abstract

Procedimiento para vulcanizar polímeros y copolímeros amorfos saturados de alfa olefinas entre sí y/o con etileno, con etileno, con peróxido orgánico en presencia de azufre, caracterizado por el hecho de que la reacción se efectúa con un óptimo en la rapidez de vulcanización y un óptimo en las características elastoméricas, particularmente en la deformación permanente a la compresión de los productos vulcanizados, actuando con relaciones de concentración de azufre/ peróxido comprimidas dentro de una gama crítica que abarca desde 0,05 hasta 3 g átomo de azufre por 1 mol de peróxido, y de preferencia desde 0,3 hasta 1,5 g átomo.
