Abstract
Una película pegadiza de estirado por una sola cara que tiene tres capas que comprenden: una capa de pegadura (A) que comprende de más de 5% en peso a 40% en peso de un copolímero de bloque de etileno/α-olefina y de 60% en peso a menos de 95% en peso de un polímero basado en etileno; una capa de liberación (B) seleccionada entre el grupo consistente en polímero basado en etileno, un polímero basado en propileno y combinaciones de los mismos; una capa núcleo (C) localizada entre la capa de pegadura y la capa de liberación, comprendiendo la capa núcleo un polímero basado en etileno; y la película tiene una fuerza de pegadura de 20 g a 100 g, midiéndose la fuerza de pegadura como se indica en [0081] de la sección de descripción de métodos de ensayo.

En una realización, cada una de las capas pegadiza, de liberación y de núcleo incluye un LLDPE. El LLDPE de la capa pegadiza, la capa núcleo, la capa de liberación puede ser el mismo o diferente. En una realización, el LLDPE de la capa pegadiza, y al menos uno de la capa núcleo y la capa de liberación tiene una densidad mayor que 0,91 g/cm3 (g/cc). En otra realización, cada una de las capas pegadiza, núcleo y de liberación contienen un LLDPDE que tiene una densidad mayor que 0,91 g/cm3) (g/cc), o mayor que o igual a 0,915 g/cm3 (g/cc), o mayor que o igual a 0,917 g/cm3 (g/cc).
En una realización, la capa pegajosa incluye de 25% en peso a 35% en peso de copolímero de bloque de olefina y de 75% en peso a 65% en peso de LLDPE. La película tiene una fuerza pegadiza de 5 g a 80 g medida 48 h después de su producción.
En una realización, la capa pegadiza incluye más de 5% en peso a 20% en peso de copolímero de bloque de olefina y menos que
95% en peso a 80% en peso de LLDPE. La película tiene una fuerza pegadiza de 20 a 50 g medida después de 48 h de su producción.
En una realización, el OBC, la capa pegadiza tiene más de 5% en peso a 35% en peso de segmento duro y de 13% en moles a 28% en moles de contenido de comonómero en el segmento blando. En otra realización, el comonómero es octeno.
Cualquiera de las anteriores películas pegadizas extensibles por un lado puede comprender dos o más realizaciones dadas a conocer aquí.
Un ejemplo no limitativo de una aplicación adecuada es el sobreempaquetado de mercancías y en particular la unificación cargas de pallete. Hay una variedad de técnicas de sobreempaquetamiento que se emplean utilizando tales películas pegadizas extensibles por un lado, incluida la localización de la carga de palette a empaquetar en una plataforma rotatoria. A medida que se carga en la cincha en el pallete, la carga del palette se gira en su plataforma. La película pegadiza extensible en una cara se aplica desde un .rodillo de película continua. Al rollo de película continua se aplica una tensión de rotura de manera que la película es extensible continuamente por la carga del palette que gira. Usualmente, la película pegadiza extensible por un solo lado, localizada y adyacente a la carga del palette que gira, se pone verticalmente y la plataforma rotatoria o girable puede hacerse que funcione de 5 a 20 revoluciones por minuto.
Al terminar la operación de sobreempaquetamiento, se para el giro, mientras que se corta la película y se adhiere a la capa previa de la película usando selladura por contacto, cintas adhesivas, adhesivos a presión, selladura a presión, etc. Dependiendo de la anchura de rollo de película pegadiza extensible, la carga que se está sobreempaquetando se puede adaptar a la película mientras que el rollo de película puesta verticalmente queda fijada en posición vertical; o (por ejemplo, en el caso de anchuras de película relativamente estrechas y cargas de palette relativamente anchas) o se puede hacer que se mueva en la dirección vertical el rollo de película situado verticalmente, con lo que se alcanza un efecto de empaquetadura espiral de la mercancía empaquetada.
