Abstract
Filtro de partículas catalíticamente activo que comprende un cuerpo de filtro, un compuesto de cobre y un revestimiento con actividad catalítica oxidante que contiene al menos un metal catalíticamente activo del grupo del platino, en el cual el compuesto de cobre está presente en un segundo revestimiento aplicado sobre el cuerpo del filtro; en el cual el revestimiento con actividad catalítica oxidante forma una zona que cubre del 10 al 90% de la longitud total del cuerpo del filtro, mientras que el revestimiento que contiene el compuesto de cobre forma una segunda zona adyacente y que cubre el resto de la longitud del cuerpo del filtro, y en el cual el cuerpo del filtro es un sustrato poroso de filtro de flujo continuo de cordierita, carburo de silicio o titanato de aluminio y ambos revestimientos están presentes principalmente en las paredes porosas entre los canales de entrada de flujo y de salida de flujo; caracterizado por el hecho de que como compuesto de cobre se utiliza óxido de cobre, o un óxido de soporte de alto punto de fusión, de gran superficie e impregnado con un compuesto precursor que se degrada formando óxido de cobre, o mezclas de ellos, o mezclas de óxido de cobre con óxido de soporte de alto punto de fusión, de gran superficie y sin tratar.
