Abstract

Mejoras en el objeto de la patente principal nº 241.431 por un procedimiento para obtener un hilo de volumen engrosado que consta de una pluralidad de filamentos continuos, los cuales presentan encrespamientos irregularmente distribuídos en la extensión del hilo, por extrusión y estiraje de polímeros, procedimiento caracterizado por el hecho de que se extruyen mezclas de polímeros de propileno dotadas de un gran contenido de polímeros isotácticos con poliolefinas, resinas epóxidas aromáticas o alifáticas, poliamidas, polialquilamininas, poliésteres, poliaminotriazolas y similares, los filamentos continuos y lisos así obtenidos se someten (después de hilado) a estiraje a temperatura de 20º C a 110º C a la velocidad de alimentación máxima que permita a cada temperatura la resistencia mecánica de los filamentos, y se someten los hilos estirados a un tratamiento térmico rápido son encogimiento libre o impedido, a temperaturas comprendidas entre 50º C y el punto de fusión del polímero,mediante diversos sistemas de calentamiento, de preferencia con vapor de agua, a presión atmosférica.
