Abstract

Como se describe específicamente en los ejemplos siguientes, la administración del polipéptido mencionado anteriormente que tiene actividad inductora de inmunidad a un cuerpo vivo portador de cáncer permite la regresión de un tumor existente. Por lo tanto, el agente inductor de la inmunidad puede usarse como agente terapéutico y / o preventivo para el cáncer.
Los términos "tumor" y "cáncer" utilizados en el presente documento se refieren a neoplasias malignos, y estos términos se utilizan indistintamente entre sí.
En este caso, los tipos de cáncer DIAN son aquellos que expresan un gen que codifica un polipéptido que comprende una secuencia de aminoácidos mostrada por cualquier SEC ID de número de entre las SEC ID N1 2 a 30

En general, una cantidad eficaz para un animal diana por día es de 0,0001 µg a 1.000 µg, y preferentemente de 0,001 µg a 1.000 µg, y el agente puede administrarse a través de una sola dosis o una pluralidad de dosis. Preferentemente, el agente se administra a través de varias dosis separadas cada varios días o meses. Como se describe específicamente en los ejemplos siguientes, el agente inductor de inmunidad para su uso en la presente invención permite la regresión de un tumor existente. Por lo tanto, el agente puede ejercer los efectos antitumorales en un pequeño número de células de cáncer en una etapa temprana de desarrollo. El agente inductor de la inmunidad para su uso en la presente invención puede consistir en un polipéptido, o puede mezclarse adecuadamente con un aditivo que es adecuado para una forma de dosificación relevante, tal como un vehículo, un diluyente, un excipiente farmacéuticamente aceptable o similares. Los métodos de preparación de un agente y los aditivos que se pueden utilizar son bien conocidos en el campo de preparación médica y se pueden emplear cualquier método y aditivo. Ejemplos específicos de aditivos incluyen, entre otros: diluyentes, tales como soluciones fisiológica tampón; excipientes, tales como azúcar, lactosa, almidón de maíz, fosfato de calcio, sorbitol y glicina; aglutinantes, tales como jarabe, gelatina, goma arábiga, sorbitol, cloruro de polivinilo, y tragacanto; y lubricantes, tales como estearato de magnesio, polietilenglicol, talco, y sílice. Ejemplos de formas de preparaciones incluyen agentes orales, tales como comprimidos, cápsulas, gránulos, polvos, y soluciones de jarabe, y agentes parenterales, tales como inhaladores, preparaciones para inyección, supositorios, y medicamentos líquidos. Tales agentes se pueden preparar por métodos comunes.
El agente inductor de la inmunidad para su uso en la presente invención se puede utilizar en combinación con un agente inmunopotenciador capaz de potenciar una respuesta inmunológica in vivo.
El agente inmunopotenciador puede incorporarse en el agente inductor de inmunidad para su uso en la presente invención, o puede administrarse a un paciente como otra composición en combinación con el agente de inducción de inmunidad para su uso en la presente invención.
El término "paciente" utilizado en el presente documento se refiere a un animal, un animal mamífero, en particular, y es preferentemente un ser humano, perro, o gato.
Un ejemplo del agente inmunopotenciador es un adyuvante. Un adyuvante proporciona un depósito de antígeno (fuera de la célula o en el macrófago), activa los macrófagos, y estimula los linfocitos en un tejido dado. Por lo tanto,
