Abstract
Un ácido nucleico aislado o recombinante, que comprende: (i) una secuencia de ácido nucleico según se muestra en la figura 6; o (ii) un ácido nucleico que codifica la secuencia de aminoácidos de la figura 8; o (iii) un ácido nucleico que codifica un polipéptido que tiene una secuencia de aminoácidos que es al menos 82% idéntica a la secuencia de aminoácidos de la figura 8, que comprende un dominio LRR y que es capaz de proporcionar resistencia contra una infección por Phytophthora cuando se incorpora y se expresa en una planta o en una célula vegetal.
