Abstract
Un método para aislar y reducir la complejidad de una pluralidad de secuencias de ácido nucleico que comprende: a) proporcionar: i) un soporte sólido que comprende sondas de hibridación que pueden hibridarse con secuencias de ácido nucleico diana, ii) una muestra de ácido nucleico que comprende las secuencias de ácidos nucleicos diana, b) amplificar dichas sondas de hibridación de forma que los productos de amplificación comprendan una porción de unión y en el que dichos productos de amplificación se mantengan en solución, c) hibridar dicha muestra de ácido nucleico a dichos productos de amplificación en solución de forma que se permita que se produzca la hibridación entre dichos productos de amplificación y las secuencias de ácidos nucleicos diana, d) separar los complejos de hibridación de los ácidos nucleicos diana / producto de amplificación de los ácidos nucleicos hibridados no específicamente mediante dicha matriz de unión, y e) eluir las secuencias de ácido nucleico diana hibridadas del complejo, aislandolo de este modo y reduciendo la complejidad de una pluralidad de secuencias de ácido nucleico.
