Abstract
1. Una protección de articulación de rodilla, que comprende una componente femoral adaptada para ser implantada en la porción condilar del fémur y que tiene un par de porciones condilares distanciadas entre sí lateralmente, cada una de las cuales tiene una superficie externa que está curvada suavemente de modo convexo en la dirección antero-posterior y generalmente se adapta a las formas, en perfil lateral de las superficies condilares del fémur y que está curvada suavemente de modo convexo en todas las secciones transversales a lo largo de su extensión anteroposterior, y una porción intercondilar a modo de caja que interconecta las porciones condilares y define un rebajo intercondilar que tiene superficies laterales distanciadas entres sí, una superficie anterior y una superficie posterior, y una componente tibial adaptada para ser implantada en la mesa tibial y que incluye una porción de plataforma a modo de placa que tiene sobre su superficie superior un par de concavidades distanciadasentre sí lateralmente, cada una de las cuales está adaptada para recibir en relación encajada una de las porciones condilares de la componente femoral, y un poste que se extiende superiormente desde la porción de plataforma que esté adaptado para ser alojado en el rebajo intercondilar de la componente femoral, teniendo el poste superficies laterales, una superficie anterior y una superficie posterior, siendo tales las posiciones relativas y las formas de las superficies anteriores del poste y del rebajo de la prótesis, en estado implantado en la articulación de rodilla, que cuando la pierna está en o cerca de plena extensión y el fémur tiende a dislocarse posteriormente con relación a la tibia, las superficies anteriores se aplican una a otra impedir dislocación posterial de la componente femoral y cuando la pierna está parcialmente flexionada las superficies anteriores están distanciadas una de otra y permiten una traslación antero-posterior relativamente libre de las componentes , pero restringen movimiento anteriores y posteriores excesivos y las posiciones relativas y las formas excesivos, y las posiciones relativas y las formas de las superficies posteriores relativas y las formas de las superficies posteriores del poste y del rebajo de la prótesis en estado implantado en la articulación de rodilla son tales que cuando la pierna se aproxima a plena flexión y el fémur tiende a dislocarse anteriormente, las superficies posteriores se aplican una a otra para impedir dislocación arterial de la componente femoral y cuando la pierna está parcialmente flexionada o está extendida las superficies posteriores están distanciadas entre sí y permiten una traslación antero-posterior relativa, esencialmente libre, de las componentes. 2. Una prótesis de articulación de rodilla de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en que en la prótesis montada las paredes laterales adyacentes del poste y del rebajo divergen superiormente con relación a la porción de plataforma de la componente tibial parapermitir una angulación lateral normal esencialmente libre. 3. Una prótesis de articulación de rodilla, de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en que la prótesis montada las paredes laterales adyacentes del poste y del rebajo divergen anteriormente para permitir una rotación normal esencialmente libre. 4. Una prótesis de articulación de rodilla, de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en que las paredes laterales del rebajo intercondilar de la componente femoral son sustancialmente planas y paralelas y las paredes laterales del poste de la componente tibial se aguzan una hacia otra tanto superiormente como anteriormente, para proporcionar de este modo rotación y angulación lateral de la junta protésica. 5. Una prótesis de articulación de rodilla, de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, que comprende además una porción patelar o rotular que se extiende hacia arriba, que tiene una superficie externa anterior conformada, sustancialmente para adaptarse a la porción patelar o rotular anatómica del fémur yque se curva suavemente a lo largo de su porción interior para combinarse con las porciones condilares y la porción intercodilar. 6. Una prótesis de articulación de rodilla.
