Abstract
1.Un electrodo fungible fabricado según un procedimiento para la fabricación de electrodos fungibles de gran diámetro para la refundición, particularmente la refundición por arco sumergido en escoria, en el que el electrodo se ensambla a partir de diversas partes longitudinales yuxtapuestas, caracterizado porque las partes longitudinales (3, 12, 14) tienen en sección transversal la forma de polígonos irregulares con un ancho sustancialmente mayor que su altura, y están ensambladas para formar una sección transversal poligonal, al menos aproximadamente regular, del electrodo. 2.Un electrodo fungible de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque, en sección transversal, tiene la forma de un octógono regular que está ensamblado a partir de dos mitades (3) de octógono yuxtapuestas (véase figura 1). 3.Un electrodo fungible de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque varias partes longitudinales (12, 14) están ensambladas con sus secciones transversales a modo de corona para formar una sección transversal de electrodo con contorno exterior poligonal aproximadamente regular y dejando libre un espacio interior (15) también poligonal (véase figuras 2 y 3). 4.Un electrodo fungible de acuerdo con la reivindicación 3, caracterizado porque el espacio interior se ha llenado con una parte longitudinal (10) hecha también en colada continua (veáse figura 2). 5.Un electrodo fungible.
