Abstract

The present invention aims at a bed folding type including a folding set, or several forming bunk beds, all of which is integrated into a piece of furniture in turn rigidly fixed to the wall.

In the current state of the art they are already known, and are in the public domain, multiple furniture solutions (modular or not), which incorporate one or more folding beds.

Starting from this basic idea, it is also know multiple solutions for folding / unfolding beds regarding the furniture - and consequently with respect to the wall - where these beds are integrated. Examples of these known solutions are, among many others, the files:

- U279571, U9100945, U9802678, U9802608 and U9800303, in a more recent technology.

Any solution used in technology Conventional includes a folding frame, integrated into the furniture of form that is attached to the wall (and generally hidden from the seen when not used) and dejected about it when used; from such that the furniture itself constitutes the headboard and a support (door, board or leg) antagonistic constitutes the footboard of the unfolded bed

The folding bed object of the invention reaches Fully these objectives and, to this end:

- each folding set consists of a frame, at that a board is fixed externally in cooperation with which frame and board are fixed bars carrying the slats in the which supports the mattress; This set is mounted with the possibility of turning around two lateral axes encasquillados in rigid supports fixed to the furniture or wall;

- each collapsible assembly includes means to arrange it attached or deployed in cantilever with respect to the furniture; said means being one or several fluidic acting cylinders or springs that each go from a fixed point of the furniture or wall to a fixed point of the collapsible assembly and together provide a continuous movement of abatement and

- each folding set has an associated locking / security device, which prevents its disregard involuntary; said device being a plate that pivots in a axis integral to the furniture or wall and involves a pocket-hook facing a stem that emerges angularly conjugated of the collapsible assembly;

- each folding set has stop means; said means being extensions of the frame itself that run into against said supports and thus limit the position deployed in cantilever of the folding set.

With this structuring they are achieved the objectives set with the additional advantage that supposes offering a board with a wide frontal surface and free of mechanisms; which expands its possibilities of use (for example with proper ornamentation / decoration doors can be simulated, frames or other furniture; can be used as a blackboard for school or as a surface to project slides, images multimedia, movies or similar).

To better understand the purpose of this invention, a preferred form of practical realization, susceptible to accessory changes that do not distort its foundation.

An example of practical, non-limiting embodiment of the present invention.

The object of the invention is a new bed furniture of those consisting of a set folding (1) integrated in a piece of furniture (M) fixed to a wall.

In accordance with the invention, they can include one or more folding assemblies (1) integrated in a same wall cabinet (M), as bunk beds, where each set folding (1) includes:

a) means (2) to arrange it attached or cantilevered with respect to the furniture (M);

b) at least one locking / security device (3) that prevents involuntary disregard;

c) stop means (4) that limit the position cantilevered unfolding of the folding assembly (1).

According to the embodiment represented, each set folding (1) consists of at least one frame (11); a board (12); bars (13), and slats (14).

Each set (1) is mounted with the possibility of dejection with respect to the furniture (M), when turning around two axes lateral (40), embedded in rigid supports (4) fixed to the furniture or wall.

Depending on the relationship between length (I_ {1}) and width (I_ {2}) of the frame (11), (see figure 3) the bed is foldable by length or width, without altering it The essence of the invention:

- when the length (I_ {1}) is less than the width (I2) -as in the embodiment shown- the bed is Abbat by width with respect to one of its major sides (which corresponds to one of its sides);

- when the length (I_ {1}) is greater than the width (I 2) - embodiment not shown - the bed is lowered by length with respect to one of its minor sides (which corresponds with the headboard or the feet of the bed).

The board (12) is fixed to the frame (11) by its exterior and is oversized with respect to him; so that, with the folded assembly is only visible to the board (12) hiding the remaining interior elements.

The slat bars (13) are they are attached on the inside of the frame (11) and board (12) retaining them with complementary pieces (15) fixed to the board (12) or to the own frame (11).

According to the embodiment shown, those cited means (2) are fluid acting cylinders, which are arranged articulately its ends (respectively of the shirt and the piston) in the furniture (M) and in the folding assembly (or vice versa).

They are included in the object of the invention any other means (2) (for example springs) that do not alter, change or modify the proposed essentiality which is the one of tilt up / down the folding assembly (1) so smooth and continuous.

According to the embodiment represented, said locking / safety device (3) is a set mechanical integrated by (see figure 3) an elongated plate (31) provided in one of its extreme areas of a hole (31a) that houses a shaft (32) integral to an anchor (4) fixed to the furniture or wall (M) with respect to which it pivots when manually operated.

Said plate (31) involves, in its extreme zone opposite, a conformation-hook (31b) that, in the turn of the plate, interlocks / unlocks a fixed rod (34) to the frame (11) of the folding assembly (1).

With this structure and layout, the lock is automatic when folding the furniture: the plate (31) falls by its own weight until the rod (34) is housed in the hook (31b). He unlocking and, consequently, the lifting of the folding assembly (1), it must always be done in a totally intentional way; especially when the device (3) is available in a non-accessible area of involuntary or accidental way.

According to the embodiment shown, those cited stop means limiting the deployed / cantilever position of the folding assembly (1) is constituted by extensions (41), (41 ') of the frame itself (11) that bump against, respectively, the own anchor (4) and against a positionally arranged python (42) in said anchor (4) -see figure 3-.

Accessory elements (such as bars protective and / or for pillow support) do not alter the object of the invention and are included in the object thereof.

Claims (3)

Folding bed, according to claim 1, characterized in that the connection between frame (11), board (12) and slat bars (13) takes place by angularly attaching the bars (13) inside the frame (11) and board (12) and retaining them with complementary pieces (15), fixed to the board (12) or to the frame itself (11). 3. Folding bed, according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that, depending on the realization of dimensions (I_ {1}), (I_ {2}) of the frame (11), each set (1) is indistinctly foldable by length or by width with respect to the furniture or wall (M).
