Abstract
Aparato protector contra las descargas de alta tensión, apropiado para proteger la subestación telefónica de un abonado, conectada a una línea telefónica de transmisión mediante un par de conductores, contra aumentos bruscos de tensión en la línea, caracterizado por comprender, intercalado en serie, entre uno por lo menos de esos conductores y tierra, un cuerpo semiconductor de silicio con una zona intermedia de un tipo de conductividad y un par de zonas terminales del tipo de conductibidad opuesto, y con conexiones de baja resistencia a cada una de las zonas terminales, para formar la conexión en serie entre el citado conductor y tierra.
