Abstract
Un procedimiento para producir hidrocloruro de aminoácido y un álcali en una célula de electrodiálisis de tres compartimientos que contiene membranas bipolar, catiónica y aniónica, estando dispuestas dichas membranas para formar compartimientos de ácido, base y sal, comprendiendo el procedimiento las etapas de: a. suministrar una corriente de solución salina a un compartimiento de sal de una célula de electrodiálisis, una corriente que comprende agua a un compartimiento de base de dicha célula y un líquido que comprende un aminoácido a un compartimiento de ácido de dicha célula; b. aplicar una fuerza de accionamiento de corriente continua a través de dicha célula para producir una conversión de sal en una solución alcalina en el compartimiento de base y el aminoácido en hidrocloruro en el compartimiento de ácido; y c. extraer las soluciones ácida y alcalina producidas en la etapa b junto con soluciones salinas agotadas, tomándose la extracción desde los compartimientos respectivos.
