Abstract

Un aparato decodificador de imagen para decodificar datos codificados que se obtienen codificando una imagen binaria en cada bloque para recuperar un bloque blanco de dicha imagen binaria, incluyendo dicho aparato decodificador de imagen medios decodificadores aritméticos (801) para recuperar dicho bloque blanco decodificando dichos datos codificados, caracterizado por medios constructores de imagen de referencia para obtener una imagen binaria de referencia de un cuadro decodificado en un tiempo anterior a un cuadro blanco que incluye dicho bloque blanco; medios de bloqueo (802) para obtener un bloque de referencia conteniendo una pluralidad de pixels a partir de dicha imagen binaria de referencia; y medios selectores de modelo estadístico (803) para seleccionar un modelo estadístico de entre una pluralidad de modelos estadísticos, en base a los estados de pixels que rodean un pixel de referencia en dicho bloque de referencia, correspondiendo dicho pixel de referencia a un pixel blanco endicho bloque blanco; donde dichos medios decodificadores aritméticos (801) decodifican dichos datos codificados usando dicho modelo estadístico seleccionado.
