Abstract

Composiciones heterofásicas biodegradables que comprenden almidón parcial o completamente desestructurado y/o complejado, un éster de polisacárido, y un plastificante para el éster de polisacárido, 5en las que el éster de polisacárido constituye la matriz y el almidón la fase dispersa, caracterizadas porque las composiciones comprenden almidón y éster de polisacárido plastificado en una relación en peso de 1:0, 6 a 1:18, el éster de polisacárido se plastifica con un plastificante en una cantidad de 10 a 40 % en peso con relación al éster de polisacárido, y el almidón está en forma de partículas o dominios de dimensión media numérica menor que 1 micrómetro para al menos el 80 % de las partículas, comprendiendo las composiciones un aditivo que puede aumentar y mantener a valores de 4 o más el pH de una disolución obtenida colocando las composiciones en forma de peletes o partículas en contacto con agua a temperatura ambiente durante 1 hora con el uso de una relación peletes/partículas:agua de1:10 en peso.
