Abstract
Procedimiento para la preparación mediante la técnica sol-gel, siguiendo la ruta polimérica, de recubrimientos porosos. El procedimiento, ejecutable mediante técnicas de inmersión o pulverización, permite preparar recubrimientos vítreos o policristalinos de composiciones variables y elevada porosidad, que presentan una excelente homogeneidad, adherencia y propiedades mecánicas, reduciendo las pérdidas por reflexión de la radiación incidente sobre sustratos tan diversos como vidrio, metales, materiales cerámicos y células solares térmicas y fotovoltaicas. La porosidad y, en consecuencia las propiedades antirreflectantes, se controla mediante un aditivo que comprende compuestos derivados del Teroctilfenileter de polietilénglicol (Tritón) en elevadas concentraciones, entre 5 y 50 g/l, y posterior tratamiento térmico de sinterización para provocar la combustión del aditivo. De esta forma se aumenta la porosidad con la cantidad de aditivo. El procedimiento es simple y económico, siendo de aplicación para mejorar la transmitancia del vidrio y la eficiencia de dispositivos solares térmicos y fotovoltaicos.
