Abstract
Un motor de combustión interna que incluye uno o más pistones (4), en que cada uno de los cuales está montado para un movimiento alternativo en un respectivo cilindro (2), y que están conectados pivotalmente a una biela (6), la cual está conectada a un codo respectivo (10) en un cigüeñal (7), en que la biela (6) está conectada pivotalmente a un extremo (11) de un miembro de la articulación alargado (14), el cual está conectado pivotalmente al codo asociado (10) en un punto intermedio entre sus extremos, y cuyo otro extremo constituye una barra (18) la cual está restringida por un soporte de montaje (20, 26) de forma tal que pueda pivotar alrededor de un eje pivotal (21) paralelo al eje (8) del cigüeñal (7), caracterizado porque el soporte de montaje incluye un primer miembro movible de soporte de montaje (20) conectado a un segundo miembro de soporte de montaje movible (26) para que sea pivotable con respecto al mismo alrededor del eje pivotal (21), en que el primer miembro de soporte movible (20) está conectado a la barra (18) mediante una conexión que permita solo el movimiento deslizante relativo en la dirección de la barra (8), porque un primer accionador (30) está conectado al soporte de montaje (20, 26), y estando dispuesto para desplazarlo selectivamente en una primera dirección perpendicular al eje (8) del cigüeñal, y porque un segundo accionador (32) está conectado al primer accionador (30) y estando configurado para mover el mismo y el soporte de montaje (20, 26) en una segunda dirección transversal a la primera dirección.
