Abstract
Un instrumento y procedimiento para prueba óptica de una lente de gafas, que comprende lentes de adición progresiva, para obtener mediciones de calidad de imagen comprenden un sistema de iluminación para presentar un haz de luz a una lente de prueba, un sistema de posicionamiento de lente de prueba para girar la lente de prueba de manera que se iluminen las diferentes áreas sobre la lente, una lente de zoom para enfocar el haz con una focal efectiva constante, un sistema de detección para grabar y medir la calidad de imagen de la lente de prueba, y un brazo de alineación para transportar la lente de zoom y el sistema de detección de manera que el eje óptico permanezca alineado con el haz que sale de la lente de prueba. El instrumento está totalmente automatizado y es capaz de obtener mediciones de la función de transferencia de modulación y prisma potencia y astigmatismo, en varios emplazamientos sobre la superficie de la lente.
