Una unidad de ensayo para el estudio de catalizadores en reacciones de corto tiempo de contacto entre el catalizador y los reactivos. Una unidad de ensayo para el estudio de catalizadores en reacciones de corto tiempo de contacto entre un catalizador y al menos un reactivo, con un reactor (4) de flujo transportado descendente, con una entrada de carga (13, 13a, 13b), y una salida de descarga (14) comunicada con una entrada de admisión (15) a una cámara superior (39) de un separador (5) interiormente dividido en la cámara superior (39) y una cámara inferior (41) por un elemento poroso (40) permeable a gases e impermeable a partículas sólidas de catalizador, y un primer precalentador (1) dotado de una salida (2, 2a) conectada con la entrada (13, 13a, 13b) del reactor (4) a través de un conducto de carga (42) de manera que, entre la salida (2, 2a) y la entrada de carga (13, 13a, 13b), están dispuestos medios obturadores (3, 3a), en el que el catalizador se calienta a una temperatura deseada antes de su carga al reactor (4).
