Abstract
El invento se refiere a un método para producir una masa fundida de nitrato de calcio, homogénea y exenta de amonio, que tiene una lata temperatura de solidificación, adecuada para métodos convencionales de formación de partículas, mezclando una fuente de potasio con una fuente de nitrato de calcio y calentando la mezcla formada a 150-155ºC para formar una masa fundida que comprende 1,5-5% en peso de K (como KNO3), 13-18% en peso de agua y 70-80% en peso de Ca(NO3)2. El invento se refiere, además, a partículas de nitrato de calcio, homogéneas y exentas de amonio, en que las partículas son un producto conformado como partículas a partir de una masa fundida que comprende 1,5-5,5% en peso de k (como KNO3), 13-18% en peso de agua y 70-80% en peso de Ca(NO3)2.
