Abstract
Procedimiento de alimentación de una lámpara de ultravioleta de baja presión (10) con una tensión o una corriente de polaridad cambiante, caracterizado por el hecho de que tras el cebado de lámpara de ultravioleta de baja presión (10) los intervalos de tiempo tras los cuales es cambiada la polaridad están dimensionados de forma tal que son mayores que el semiperíodo de la habitual frecuencia de la red pero menores que un tiempo que resulta de la constante térmica de tiempo de la lámpara de ultravioleta de baja presión (10) y es el que transcurre hasta ser alcanzado un valor límite inferior para la temperatura de funcionamiento de los electrodos (12, 14).
