Abstract

Dispositivo para fabricar un velo de copos de fibras, que tiene por lo menos un pozo sensiblemente vertical de sección transversal rectangular, a cuyo extremo superior está acoplado un dispositivo de alimentación para copos de fibras, cuyo extremo inferior tiene un dispositivo para extraer los copos de fibras en forma de un velo de copos y una de cuyas paredes longitudinales es permeable al aire, está previsto una pluralidad de elementos para modificar la corriente de paso de aire reinante en estas zonas en el pozo vertical, los cuales están situados unos junto a otros y distribuidos por toda la anchura del pozo vertical. Para hacer posible un aumento de la anchura útil del velo cardado suministrado y para permitir una reducción de los residuos de desperdicio de los bordes, los elementos están configurados con forma más estrecha en las zonas laterales del pozo vertical, en comparación con la zona central, y/o la distancia entre los elementos aumenta lateralmente respecto a la pared opuestadel pozo vertical.
