Abstract

La invención se refiere a derivados de ciclopentanona que tienen una estructura de 5-( R{sup,1}COO-)-4-( R{sup,2}COO-)-sustituida a 2-ciclopenteno-1-ona (R{sup,1} y R{sup,2} son iguales o diferentes entre sí y son un grupo alquilo, alquenilo, o un grupo arilo) o una sustancia ópticamente activa de éstos; el procedimiento para la fabricación del derivado de ciclopentanona mediante reacción de 4,5-dihidroxi-2-cilopenteno-1-ona con el correspondiente ácido carboxílico o un derivado reactivo de éste; y un agente anticáncer; agente inductor de al apoptosis y un agente antibacteriano que contiene el citado derivado.
