Abstract

Un aparato para producir simultáneamente una pluralidad de imágenes separadas espacialmente de un campo de objeto, que comprende: -un sistema óptico (1) dispuesto para producir una imagen asociada a una primera condición de foco; -una rejilla de difracción (4) dispuesta para producir, en concierto con el sistema óptico (1) imágenes asociadas a cada orden de difracción; y -medios para detectar las imágenes (8); -en el que el sistema óptico (1), la rejilla de difracción (4), y los medios de detección (8) están situados sobre un eje óptico (3), y la rejilla de difracción (4) está situada en un plano de rejilla adecuado; caracterizado porque: -la rejilla de difracción (4) está distorsionada sustancialmente de acuerdo con una función cuadrática, de modo que haga que las imágenes se formen bajo diversas condiciones de foco y separadas espacialmente en una dirección que tenga un componente no cero perpendicular el eje óptico (3).
