Abstract

Un procedimiento para procesar contenedores que incluye: detección de la velocidad de transporte de los contenedores, para sincronizar la detención amortiguada y los medios de acompañamiento con dicha velocidad; la detección de un intersticio entre los contenedores consecutivos y la inserción de dichos medios en dicho intersticio; detención gradual, controlada y programable de algunos de los contenedores en un espacio predeterminado, y acompañamiento simultáneo de los contenedores más allá de la zona de detención, a la velocidad de transporte de la línea transportadora. Los medios de detención amortiguada incluyen un motor lineal (1a) móvil en una dirección paralela a la del transporte de los contenedores (2), y dotado de un elemento de detención (8) que se desplaza en dirección perpendicular a la de los contenedores (2) a fin de ser insertado entre dos contenedores consecutivos (2). El dispositivo también incluye medios de acompañamiento (9) asociados a los medios de detención amortiguadamontados, de manera deslizable, con respecto a él en una dirección paralela a la del transporte de los contenedores (2) y a su misma velocidad.
