Abstract

La invención se refiere a un procedimiento para procesar licores madre expulsados a partir del procedimiento y en el que queda un bisfenol que ha sido separado durante la producción de dihidroxidiarilalcanos (bisfenoles). De acuerdo con el procedimiento de la invención, el fenol se elimina inicialmente por medio de una destilación. El residuo es subsecuentemente dividido en dos columnas de rectificación reactiva conectadas en serie, en donde la primera excisión se lleva a cabo en la presencia de un catalizador básico y la segunda excisión se lleva a cabo en la presencia de un catalizador ácido.
