Abstract

Método de propagación del alcornoque (quercus suber 1.) Por embriogénesis somática El objeto de la invención es multiplicar plantas de alcornoque a partir de embriones somáticos. El método consiste en el cultivo de embriones zigóticos en condiciones asépticas, en medio suplementado con ácido 2,4- diclorofenoxiacético. Los embriones somáticos producidos se tratan con frío (2 a 5ºC) durante dos a diez semanas, para estimular su germinación. Después se pasan a medio basal, suplementado con bencil-adenina, para estimular el desarrollo del tallo y obtener la producción de plantas. Este procedimiento resuelve los problemas de propagación clonal que tenía el alcornoque, recalcitrante a la propagación por estaquillado y otros métodos convencionales de propagación vegetativa.
