Abstract

The propagation of quercus suber L. by somatic embryogenesis comprises cultivation of embryos under aseptic conditions in medium supplemented by 2,4-dichlorophenoxy acetic acid. The embryos are treated at 2-5 degreesC for two to ten weeks to stimulate germination. Plant production is stimulated by basic medium supplemented by benzyl adenine.
