Abstract

Proceso para la producción electrolítica de zinc o de compuestos de zinc de alta pureza a partir de materias primas primarias y secundarias de zinc. Consta de las siguientes etapas: a) si la materia prima es un sólido, lixiviación de esta materia prima con una disolución acuosa ácida para conseguir la disolución del zinc, b) opcionalmente una separación sólido-líquido, c) neutralización de la disolución acuosa cuando la materia prima que contiene zinc esté en forma líquida, d) separación sólido/líquido de la disolución rica en zinc de los sólidos precipitados en la etapa de la neutralización. e) extracción del zinc mediante un solvente orgánico ácido. f) purificación del solvente orgánico procedente de etapa de extracción g) reextracción del zinc del solvente orgánico mediante una disolución acuosa ácida.
